UK charities are beginning to incorporate risk management into the day to day running of their organisations but vital gaps are continuing to put the sector at risk, according to the 2003 charities risk management survey, conducted by accountants and business advisers PKF, in association with the Charity Finance Directors' Group.
The survey, which covered more than 300 charities, found that 94% of organisations use risk management, but it highlighted fundamental issues that are still overlooked. Copies from:
