More sensitive data is compromised in the latest cyber attack
Sega has confirmed that its network was breached and the data of 1.29m customers was stolen.
However, Sega maintains that customers' credit card details were not taken, according to the BBC.
The attack centred on the Sega Pass system which is an online gaming network.
The Guardian reported that this was taken offline on June 16 and all users' passwords have been reset.
Sega is urging customers to change their log-in details on other services and websites where they use the same passwords.
LulzSec the hacker group responsible for the recent attacks on Nintendo and Sony said that it was not responsible for the attack on Sega.
