Reorganises management in an effort to move beyond troubled merger
Alcatel-Lucent’s chairman and chief executive have both stepped down.
Serge Tchuruk, chairman, and Pat Russo, chief executive will both be ditched before the end of the year as part of a broader management shake up.
The changes were laid out in a plan designed to help the company move beyond the problems it has been mired in since Alcatel took over Lucent in November 2006.
