Cat Modelling in Uncertain Times to be held on 17-20 February 2009
Cat Modelling in Uncertain Times, the third cat modelling event organised by the Reinsurance Association of America (RAA) and International Society of Catastrophe Risk Managers (ISCM), will take place on 17-20 February 2009 in Tampa, Florida.
Among the topics will be a review of the 2008 hurricane season from the National Hurricane Center, the role of capital market capacity, regulation of catastrophe models, winter storms and the offshore oil and gas industry. RAA president Franklin Nutter will also give an overview of the 2008 elections and their impact on catastrophe insurance and reinsurance.
