The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work has published a report which recognises work-related stress as an increasing risk for Europe's workforce, affecting nearly one in three EU workers.
The report states that work-related stress is should be dealt with in the same logical and systematic way as other health and safety issues. It finds growing evidence of the effectiveness of stress management intervention and advocates further research into common practices of dealing with stress in the workplace.
