Judy Baker joins major corporate accounts division
Heath Lambert has hired Judy Baker from Bluefin Insurance to head its large corporate division.
Baker’s career spans more than 20 years within the corporate community in sectors such as retail, leisure, property investors, manufacturing and financial institutions.
Heath Lambert chief executive Adrian Colosso said: “To attract a heavy-hitter like Judy to Heath Lambert is a clear signal to the market that we are the number one broker for the corporate client.”
“She will develop our strategic proposition within our key sectors and help us cultivate the FTSE 250 and multinational community, both with our existing clients and bringing in new business. After a year of victories including the recent wins of Thames Tideway and Scott Wilson, Judy and our corporate accounts team will be able to quickly build on a solid foundation of profitable growth.”
Baker has worked as an underwriter for Sun Alliance and AIG before crossing over to the broking world. She spent seven years at Stewart Wrightson and then following the merger with Willis, joined SBJ. She has spent the past 21 years predominantly working with major clients.
Baker added: “I am delighted to join Heath Lambert to drive its business forward and build on its successes over the past 18 months. The corporate accounts arena is a challenging sector, but for the past 20 years I have thrived on the challenges it poses on a daily basis! Watching Heath Lambert win accounts such as Thames Tideway made it clear to me that its vision is to be the best in class. I want to be part of the Heath Lambert vision.”
