Unit labour costs continued to accelerate in the developed world in the first three months of 2008
Labour costs accelerated in most developed countries in the first quarter of 2008, said the OECD.
All major OECD economies recorded moderate growth in unit labour costs for market services.
Growth rates varied between 0.2 percent for Japan and 2.1 percent for Italy.
Unit labour costs measures how much employers pay workers for every unit of output they produce.
