Congratulations to some of the award winners of StrategicRISK’s European Risk Management Awards on the progress they’ve made
Most of our StrategicRISK awards are presented to companies rather than individuals, acknowledging the fact that good risk management is a team effort. However, we do present individual awards to Young Achievers. Here’s what’s happened to them since they won their prize.
Our Young Achievers lived up to their promise
Jonathan Blackhurst, StrategicRISK Young Achiever of the Year 2005
When Jonathan won his award he was senior risk analyst with Marlborough Stirling. He later joined consultancy Protiviti and is now risk and control manager with Visa Europe.
Jean-Michel Paris, StrategicRISK Young Achiever of the Year 2006
Jean-Michel was corporate risk manager at Bureau Veritas when he won his award. He went on to become executive director, enterprise risk manager, at Ernst & Young and now works in the firm’s Germany-Switzerland-Austria risk advisory leadership team.
Andre Katz, StrategicRISK Young Achiever of the Year 2007
It was achievements when seconded by PricewaterhouseCoopers to the UK Office of Government Commerce that gained Andre the award. After returning to PwC as senior manager, governance, risk and controls, he joined DSG International, where he is now head of risk.
Peter Kofoed, StrategicRISK Young Achiever of the Year 2008
When Peter won his award, he was head of the risk management office at Danish company Coloplast. He is now manager, business development, at the project management office of Willis Denmark.
Naresh Chenani, StrategicRISK Young Achiever of the Year 2009
Naresh has moved from his role as risk manager at the London Borough of Ealing to become a senior consultant at Deloitte Consulting.
