Zurich’s CFO joins Aon

Mark Chessher has been appointed CFO of Aon and Aon Risk Services (UK).

Chessher will join the company later in the year, subject to FSA approval, and will sit on Aon’s board. He replaces John Cullen, who earlier this year was promoted to the role of global CFO for Aon Risk Services.

Chessher joins Aon from Zurich Financial Services, where he is currently CFO of their North American large corporate customer division, based in New York. Prior to this he was Zurich's UK Finance Director for two years. Chessher also served five years in Zurich's US Personal Lines operation based in Los Angeles. He has also worked for KPMG in London and in Sydney, Australia.
