Head of risk management appointed at Chubb Europe

Chubb Insurance has announced the appointment of Mark Roberts as risk management and multinational risk group manager at Chubb Insurance Europe.

Mark will be responsible for European risk management at Chubb Insurance which currently has more than 45 large accounts on its books. In addition to this he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s multinational group and the risk management services department which provides underwriting consultation for over 800 multinational accounts.

Mark takes up his new position with immediate effect and will be based in London, reporting to Paris-based Fred Shurbaji, manager for Europe. Mark joined Chubb Insurance in 2004 as London casualty manager and prior to this he worked as senior multinational casualty underwriter at ACE Europe. The appointment is in response to the recent promotion of Jonathan Poole who has become technology manager.
