Anticipating a boom

RusRisk's annual forum at the end of May will discuss current trends, conditions and problems of risk management in Russia and CIS.

According to RusRisk, when risk management practice initially came to Russia from the West, it was seen by many companies as just a fashionable trend. But today the biggest financial and manufacturing companies regard risk management as a priority, especially for those on the threshold of entering world financial markets. As a result, financial experts are forecasting that the Russian economy is about to enjoy a risk management boom in 2007-2008.On the second day of the Forum, the results of RusRisk's international competition for 'the best risk management 2007' will be announced. The deadline for entries is May 15.
