Philippe Rocard will take over as chief executive of AXA Corporate Solutions
Jean-Paul Rignault has been appointed senior executive vice president of AXA France in charge of AXA Entreprises, he will take up the position on November 1, 2009.
Philippe Rocard, formerly chief of marketing and actuarial officer within AXA France, will take over from Rignault as chief executive officer of AXA Corporate Solutions.
After seven years at the head of AXA Corporate Solutions, Jean-Paul Rignault will take on new responsibilities, succeeding Jacques de Peretti who is moving on to head up AXA Particuliers/Professionnels.
Rocard spent the first years of his career as a specialised risk engineer in the petrochemical industry in France. For the next six years he represented France as a negotiator for the Seveso European Directive in Brussels and was responsible for the Directive’s implementation.
Rocard’s has worked in various general management positions at corporate risk division level at the insurance companies GAN and GAN Groupama. He joined AXA France in 1999 as general manager of the South Western region.
