Geoff Taylor is the chairman designate of AIRMIC for 2006-7 Currently deputy chairman, he is due to be formally elected at the annual conference on 14 June in Bournemouth.
Since 2002, he has been director of risk management for Nike Europe, Middle East & Africa and he has overall regional responsibility for the firm's environment, safety and health, security, business continuity, risk financing and incident management teams.
Geoff started his career in the UK insurance industry in underwriting positions with Sun Alliance Insurance Group, and then with the Prudential Assurance Co. A Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management, he has also worked for three large US corporations: Bechtel, Levi Strauss, and now Nike.
