AIRMIC has expressed concern over a proposal in a Home Office paper, that firms should compensate employees who suffer criminal injury at work.
The proposal is contained in the Home Office's Compensation and Support for Victims of Crime consultation paper, with a view to amending the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.
AIRMIC is concerned that if this change goes ahead, it will add further cost burdens and increase the cost of employers' liability insurance.
