David Mulano will head the new chapter for the Global Association of Risk Professionals
The Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) has appointed a regional director in Barcelona. David Mulano, FRM will head the new chapter in Barcelona.
"Local GARP Chapters provide an excellent opportunity for risk professionals to network and exchange ideas, as well as enhance their knowledge with recent developments," stated Mulano. "As a regional director in Barcelona, my aim would be to provide these opportunities to local risk professionals.”
Rich Apostolik, GARP’s president and CEO added, "With the economic growth in Spain in recent years, we see this as a big opportunity for GARP and the financial risk management community,"
Mulano is the director of global risk management, and a member of the executive committee, at Caixa d’Enginyers, the largest credit union for professionals in Spain. He is also a member of the board of the insurance group Caja Ingenieros Vida.
The addition brings the total of regional directors across the globe to 70.
