Marsh boosts business continuity team

Marsh has appointed Vince West as a managing consultant within its business continuity management team. West is based in Marsh’s London office and is responsible for developing and delivering the firm’s business continuity services to existing and prospective clients.

Before joining Marsh, West was a partner in an independent business continuity practice he launched in 1997, which offered a full range of services including risk evaluation, business impact analysis, plan development, testing and training. Prior to this he was head of business continuity services and an independent consultant at Norwich Union.

Commenting on West’s appointment, Martin Caddick, leader of the business continuity management team at Marsh, said: “Vince has considerable experience in formulating and advising clients on their respective business continuity strategies and he has worked with many leading organisations over the last ten years on their business continuity projects. This experience will be invaluable in helping our clients to be prepared for business continuity risk.”
