Richard Roberts will oversee the enterprise risk management portfolio
The Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) has announced the appointment of Richard Roberts to the RIMS 2007-2008 board of directors.

“I'm honored to be appointed to the board of directors of the premier association for risk professionals,” says Roberts, corporate risk manager for Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc. (EBI).
“I look forward to sharing my voice in shaping the future of the risk management discipline and am thrilled to be a vital part of the Society that I have been committed to for many years.”
An active member in RIMS since 1988, Roberts has served on RIMS Research Committee, RIMS Nominating Committee and is currently vice chair of RIMS Quality Advisory Council.
Roberts has been a risk practitioner for 20 years, with 15 years devoted to progressive risk management practices in manufacturing and five years in the financial services industry.
