Willis Global appoints new director of strategy and transformation

Willis Global has appointed  Pietro Menghi as director of strategy and transformation.

Menghi replaces David Thomas who has been promoted to chief executive of the firm’s newly-created market solutions and services unit.

In his new role, Menghi will report to Steve Hearn, chairman and chief executive, Willis Global, and retains his previous responsibilities as chairman and chief executive Willis Re Southern Europe, a role he has held since 2008.

Before joining Willis, Pietro held a number of senior management roles in reinsurance across Europe. He was most recently head of client management at Swiss Re .
